I started Art at a tender age especially on stone carving and during the late 80s I enrolled at Mt Hampden Arts Institute in Harare, where I did a two year course in Art and Designing.
After that I worked at Cannon Peterson in Mbare and Kubatana co-op in Warren Park in Harare, after that I went to Nyanga where I worked with the likes of Harry Chingono, the late Bernard Muchirahondo and Farai Nheuka to mention a few.
In the mid-90s I moved to Bulawayo where I met the likes of Lloyd Madzura, the late Gorge Nene and Dicksen Nyedwa. He and one of his former students are the founders of Kingfisher Sculpture Garden in Burnside, Bulawayo.
