Simon Phiri

Simon Phiri I am 24 yrs old, born and raised in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe. I studied art at Mzilikazi Art and Craft Centre, and have now been painting for 10yrs specialising in superrealism. Although I studied almost every medium, I am now a pencil specialist, drawing the worlds realities, from wildlife to culture and portraits. I respect nature, like seeing new places and enjoy sketching imaginative figures. I love spending time with my pencil and paper, like east african rap and reggae which is good for meditation. I am now at the National Gallery of Bulawayo where I have a studio to work from.
